For Chantol and William, the Crystal Ballroom at The Omni King Edward Hotel became a setting of soft florals and golden light. The wedding film shared on Lux Events Co’s Instagram describes a Bridgerton-inspired day; the finished room brought that romantic idea to life through scale and detail.

Romance with a sense of occasion

The Bridgerton-inspired theme suggested a celebration with the sweep of a period ballroom and the ease of a contemporary wedding. Rather than cover the King Edward’s character, the design gave guests a new scene to enter: pastel flowers rising through airy structures, with the original chandeliers still part of the picture.

Lux Events Co planned the experience around that change in scale. The entrance and larger floral moments delivered the first impression; long tables, candles and playful macaron displays kept the story going as guests moved into dinner.

A new layer within a historic ballroom

White, blush, peach and soft lavender flowers brought colour to the room without competing with its historic architecture. Custom acrylic structures framed key views of the celebration, while long tables and candlelight kept the atmosphere warm at guest level.

Ethereal Creators designed the floral installations and architectural pieces. The structures were made specifically for the Crystal Ballroom, giving the couple’s celebration a setting with its own distinct shape rather than relying on the room alone.

The details guests could discover

Flower-filled tables, a custom sweetheart table and tall macaron displays carried the visual story around the ballroom. Pastel tones repeated across the flowers and desserts, while golden candlelight connected the larger installations to the intimate moments at each place setting.
