It has been an absolute pleasure working with Lux Events Co. for the past two years leading up to our wedding. Sunny and her team were always there when I needed them, quick to respond to emails and very reassuring. Lux Events has an outstanding reputation in the industry with good reason. Everyone in the industry would only have great things to say when I told them Sunny was our planner. From conception to execution not one detail was unaccounted for. On the day of our wedding Yasmin was an instrumental part in making sure everything went according to plan - I didn’t have to think about a thing! There are no words to describe the level of service and perfection that comes with having Lux Events Co. as part of your event. I hired Sunny to plan and coordinate my upcoming September wedding. As we began the planning, my mom and I were so quickly amazed at how amazing Sunny was. Her organization, patience and always on top of it nature just blew us away. While we were also in the middle of planning my bridal shower, we loved working with Sunny so much that we quickly brought her on board for my bridal shower as well! Planning the bridal shower became almost more work than the wedding until Sunny came on board. She quickly took hold of the planning and steered us in only the right directions. She immediately took my vision and ran with it to make it something better than I could have ever imagined. Bridal shower planning quickly turned around from being a chore to being an absolute blast. I truly looked forward to every meeting, appointment and conversation because I knew I would always leave feeling calm, excited and assured that everything was being taken care of. Sunny's attention to detail and her ability to make things beautiful is a true talent. In addition to her talent, she is the most patient and kind person to work with. Not once did she turn any of my ideas down or make me feel like something wasn't possible, Sunny truly made me felt like the sky was the limit and anything I dreamt of was possible- and she definitely made it all happen and more! The day of my bridal shower was complete perfection. From beginning to end the event was handled all by Sunny and her lovely staff (who are also amazing- you can tell they are trained under Sunny and really live out the values that Sunny possesses.). The day before the event we had learned about road closures around my venue. Before I even knew about the road closures, Sunny had called all of the vendors to ensure an earlier start time and reorganize the itinerary to accommodate the closures- this completely amazed me!! In addition, I think it's important to say how much trust I immediately had in Sunny from the start. I didn't even know what my bridal shower cake was going to look like- this was a complete surprise as Sunny took control of this and designed a cake that fit with the overall look and feel of the shower. Let me just say this cake was more beautiful than ever. It was absolutely perfect and I was so happy that I had given complete control to her. I admit that it's hard sometimes to give control to someone when it's your event but with Sunny, I have no problem handing things off as I know I could never make them as beautiful as she can! As a bride, I enjoyed every single moment of my event because I knew Sunny was taking care of it. No detail went unnoticed that was for sure! Sunny stayed right until the end to make sure we got all of our belongings and everything was taken care of. It's also important to note that Sunny has the most wonderful relationships with vendors. When I tell vendors that Sunny's my planner they immediately gasp in excitement because they absolutely love working with her- this is proof that she is an amazing person! I will forever be thankful that I have such a wonderful person with me on this journey that allows me to take in every moment and enjoy this process. I am so excited to continue the journey with Lux Events Co.!

When it came to planning our wedding, there were several factors that made things a little difficult for me. I had only lived in Ontario for 3 years so I had very little exposure to weddings in the GTA. My entire family and friends all lived in Vancouver so I was completely alone. As I began the planning process I immediately felt overwhelmed as I didn’t have my mom or anyone helping me. I eventually spoke with Sunny who immediately put me at ease with one phone call.
Sunny was able to understand my vision and bring it to life. Sunny went above and beyond and even helped organize a very elaborate arabic wedding reception entrance with 9 drummers and a saxophone player.
As for our ceremony, we had a traditional persian ceremony “sofreh”. Sunny was able to work with the sofreh designers to create one of the most beautiful sofrehs I have ever seen.
Without Sunny, our day (and planning experience) would have been very difficult for me to handle on my own. Sunny was so amazing throughout the whole process. From answering all my questions, giving me her HONEST opinion and totally understanding my vision. Sunny had the ability to explain to vendors exactly what I wanted and exactly what I didn’t want. She was able to execute the day flawlessly.
All our guests still continue to tell us how our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings they have been to. My family, especially my mom, LOVED Sunny. All in all, Sunny was such a pleasure to work with, she is experienced, confident, and has amazing taste.
Thank you Sunny from the bottom of my heart for being by my side throughout the whole planning process, helping guide the way, always being sure to include my mom for the traditional Persian aspects of our wedding and for the ability to incorporate both my culture and my husbands into one perfect day!

Sunny and her team are the best in the business! They are professional, talented, reliable and knowledgeable. The team at Lux events were absolutely integral to planning our wedding this past August. We were thrilled to be able to work with Sunny again after she had very successfully coordinated my brother’s wedding back in 2015. Sunny came to the table with invaluable advice, expertise and creativity regarding all aspects of the wedding specially the floral setup, decor and stationary.
The day itself was absolutely perfect- we would not have changed one thing! We had the pleasure of working with Sunny for our wedding this past September. Her creative outlook exceeded my expectations of what I dreamed of. From the flowers, the linens, the furniture and props.
We had over 150 guests and Sunny and her team made it feel so intimate and romantic.
We also had the pleasure of working with Yasmin (Sunny's assistant). She helped closer to wedding and on the day. She was coordinating everyone's whereabouts and what they had to do and where they needed to be. It was great, so we didn't have to worry about it :)

Sunny is beyond talented in her work and we could not have been happier to have chosen her for our big day. She steps above and beyond all expectations. Her taste in everything is so beautiful that I never felt the need to doubt any of her decisions. I am usually very particular is what I want but with Sunny, lets just say the whole process was completely left in her hands because I knew that i could count on her taste and expertise. She was always prompt with answering emails and phone calls. She always had a list of amazing and trustable vendors for everything, which made the process so much easier when trying to decide what was best suited for us. Planning a wedding can be very stressful but she truely minimized the stress and made the whole process so much easier by handling everything so well that I only had to go to a few meetings! In the end, we are so grateful for her amazing work and we have amazing pictures to remember it forever!
