Ila & Jarred: An All-White World at Casa Loma
Orchids, a garden ceremony and the Glass Pavilion set the scene for this Toronto celebration.
Explore the wedding story
Ila and Jarred’s Casa Loma wedding moved from a garden ceremony beneath cascading white orchids to an all-white reception in the Glass Pavilion. The design gave each setting a clear identity while carrying the same floral language throughout the day.
One white palette, two distinct settings
The finished celebration reads as a wish for timeless romance without losing a clean, modern edge. Casa Loma’s garden gave the ceremony natural colour and historic texture; the Glass Pavilion offered a bright canvas for a more immersive all-white reception.
Lux Events Co connected the two spaces through orchids. The flowers framed the huppah outdoors, then appeared overhead in the pavilion. Clear chairs and tables allowed the floral forms to stand forward, while drapery, candlelight and small black accents gave the white palette depth rather than making it feel bare.
An orchid-covered ceremony
Clear chairs lined the garden aisle, keeping the focus on the greenery, white orchids and baby’s breath. At the altar, a floral huppah created a meaningful place for the couple’s vows and honoured Jarred’s Jewish heritage.
The historic Casa Loma grounds supplied a backdrop with its own texture and scale. The ceremony’s white flowers framed that setting without closing it off.
A luminous pavilion
In the Glass Pavilion, soft drapery, suspended orchids and transparent seating built an airy all-white room. Black-and-white signage gave the palette a precise edge, and the couple’s initials appeared on the custom floor wrap. A three-tier cake with orchid details carried the floral motif to the final course.
